FAQ:
Q: Is it possible to play GBA games on a flash cart?
A: For GBA games, there seems to be no noticeable difference between using them on the flash cart, and using them on their original cartridges. ROM hacks work perfectly fine as well. Using Goomba Color to emulate GBC/GB games works fine, but it is an emulator, so some games (namely Pokemon Crystal) do not work.
Q: What is the best GBA GBA card?
A: Basically, the currently best cards are the Everdrive X5 and the EZ-Flash Omega. They both have their pros and cons. I am not able to compare the external build quality of the cards since I don’t have an Everdrive GBA X5
Q: Should I get the EZ Flash or Everdrive GBA?
A: Everdrive GBA blows the EZ Flash out of the water (I have both). The cartridge is slightly larger than a regular cart but nothing major. Yeah, I’d go everdrive if was an original GBA w/ cart on top, sticking out a bit doesn’t matter in that case. A micro, though, that bit sticking up can screw-up your grip on that tiny thing, harder call.
Q: What is the best EZ flash cart to buy?
A: EZFlash’s take was the EZ4 lite compact (the EZ4 lite deluxe on the other hand being one of the most sought after flash carts during the “only the EZ4 is available days” owing to it having 256Mbit of PSRAM and 384 of NOR). Everything else.
